Denise Fort

Denise Fort is Emerita at the University of New Mexico Law School, and climate change and environmental activist.

With each passing day, we witness a stream of depressing developments that weaken and destroy environmental safeguards that for many years have been taken as sacrosanct. This administration’s relentless and seemingly unstoppable assault on our land, water, and air is a depressing spectacle, but there is reason for hope. Former Director of New Mexico’s Environmental Improvement Division and attorney for new Mexico PIRG, Fort will share with us her wealth of knowledge and experience to provide concrete tools to serve citizen activists in fighting back against those who would destroy the environment.

Free and open to the public.
